Class Representative
Years after graduation, your class remains an important part of your Holy Cross experience. No matter how long it’s been since you were on campus, you want to stay in touch with classmates. By being one of your Class Representatives, you are able to continue to connect with your classmates.
As a Class Representative you will assist the College with:
- Class Notes, provide news from classmates, from weddings, births, promotions, moves, and more. You will be integral in gathering this information and providing it to the College for publication
- Alumni Directory will help our alumni reconnect with old friends and network with new ones. In order for the Directory to be a success, you will motivate classmates to submit their contact and employment information for the Directory
- Reunion is the time for your class to return to campus to see how the College has grown and to reminisce about your time at Holy Cross. You will be responsible for the planning of your individual class celebration during Reunion weekend.
- Alumni Stories give an in-depth look at our alumni. Help gather stories and news on classmates who are inspirational personally and professionally.
The amount of time spent on being a Class Representative really depends on the individual. The minimum expectations are:
- Submit classmate updates for the publication twice a year for publication in the College’s magazine
- Plan your class’s individual reunion celebration with the guidance and assistance of the College Relation’s staff
- Motivate classmates to become engaged with the College
